Don Toliver’s latest project is one we can describe as a sensual, psychedelic album. ‘4 Me’ displays Don’s ability to switch it up, a deviation from the rap norm to an R&B serenade assisted by Kali Uchis. Dreamy chords drift over the synths and percussions in ‘Leather Coat’, Don talks about a love he once neglected but is now ready for. The beat switches after the hook to a more morose tone, those dreamy chords now replaced by a heavy bass over which Don delivers a solemn rendition.

The braggadocious tone of ‘Private Landing’ coupled with the beat smells hard trap which was quite shocking to see Justin Bieber as a feature, but he does well to keep the theme trapping alongside Don and Future which we consider to be an incredible collaboration.

Afrobeats triumphs again with influence as Wizkid is found on track ‘Slow Motion’ which fuses pop beats with his afro-style creating a sensual experience. Wizkid’s verse on this record sort of feels like an extension of his ‘Made In Lagos’ album’s sonic style.

Don ensures to mix the moods in this album which perfectly paints a picture of what love really is – a congregation of multiple emotions, a journey filled with ups and downs, and a disruptive-yet-pleasurable exchange.
